Sworn Financial Advisor Münir Tatar, one of the leading accounting experts in England since 1982, handed over his seat to his son.

The accounting and auditing company ‘Tatar Brothers & Co’, which was started in London 65 years ago by brothers Rüstem Zihni Tatar, Hasan Zihni Tatar and Sermet Zihni Tatar, was handed over to Serkan Tatar, one of his family members, on Tuesday, February 16. The young and successful financial advisor, after graduating from the University of Birmingham, Department of Economics, completed his master’s degree in International Business.

At the same time, he has 8 years of senior management experience in the world-renowned Deloitte Accounting and Auditing company. Serkan Tatar made the following statements to our newspaper: “My father is approaching retirement age, someone had to take over this.

I’ve been considering this decision for a while. In addition to my 8 years of experience, I met the world of finance and companies. My position was quite successful. I had many opportunities to climb my career ladder, but I believed it was important to continue the family legacy. Because of this, I chose to take my career and my future under my own control. Now was the time to take over the seat. Our family business has had many successes.

In order to be in harmony with our present time, we can explore the developing technology in many ways with a new perspective. We already have an outstanding, supportive and reassuring team. As always, we have big goals, we have a different customer base and we are known not only with the Turkish speaking community but also with the services we provide. With new goals and achievements, we will expand our services to existing and new customers.

I will continue to keep the name of the family legacy alive with my experience and financial knowledge.” Münir Tatar, who said that his son, who had worked in a world-renowned accounting company in the position of authorized manager for years, is proud to take care of the family heritage, said: ”51 years ago I came here and, like my son, I took over the family business that my father and uncles founded. I have no doubt that my son will achieve great success, I wish him success.”
